Liu Fang is a founding partner of WALSON's Laos and Myanmar offices and General Manager of the Laos office. She oversees office operations, day-to-day client communication, the implementation of work plans, on-site team management and progress reporting.
Liu Fang has extensive experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, project finance and foreign direct investment. She also has particular expertise in the energy sector, having represented developers on major renewable energy projects in Laos and advised on nearly 30 solar power projects in the country.
With 21 years of experience in the legal profession, Liu Fang was named among the Top 20 Lawyers for Overseas Expansion in 2025 and was admitted to the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice's Dingxin talent pool in 2026.
She contributed to the first edition of the Practical Guide to Foreign Investment Law in Laos, published by Law Press China in 2022, and to the second edition, which is under revision.
